This is a delicious layered lemon blueberry cake. Great for a birthday cake or just for that special occasion...

Ingredients Directions
1) 3 1/3 cups cake flour Preheat oven at 350 F. Grease and flour two 9” baking pans.

(1-4) In a medium bowl sift together the first group of ingredients.

(5-6) In a large bowl beat butter and sugar until fluffy.

(7-9) Add the lemon juice and lemon peel. Continue beating, adding 1 egg at a time, until well mixed.

(10-11) Now add dry ingredients alternately with the buttermilk. Mix good, then fold in blueberries.

Pour evenly into both pans. Bake for 40 minutes, or until knife near center comes out clean. Let cool ten minutes then turn out of pans. Finish cooling on wire rack. Frost with your favorite cream cheese frosting.

5) 3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
6) 2 cups sugar
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
8) 1 tsp (packed) grated lemon peel
9) 4 eggs
10) 1 cup plus 2 tbsp buttermilk
11) 2 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
